We Raise Funds in a Variety of Ways
Three special events:
Annual Fantasy Event :: SAT., APR. 17th- 6pm to Midnight. A large party with food, dancing and auctions. This years theme is Polynesian Paradise!
Charity Golf Classic :: Friday, October 1, 2010. Held at Haile Plantation Golf and Country Club, Gainesville, Florida
Holiday Traditions: A Musical Celebration :: Saturday, December 12, 2010. A wonderful holiday concert held at the Curtis M. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts which features area youth choral and orchestra groups.
93.7 K COUNTRY Bear-A-Thon :: Wednesday, February. 10, 2010 - 6am to 4pm. An annual event where listeners call in and pledge money ($40) towards the purchase of a teddy bear for the children being treated at the Shands Cancer Clinic. These bears are given to the child upon diagnosis.
Donations are made “In Honor of" or "In Memory of” cancer afflicted youngsters by family, friends and caring individuals.
- Civic groups select STOP! CHILDREN’S CANCER, INC. as a recipient of their own fund raising projects.
- Additional funds are contributed by individuals, corporations and foundations.
