STOP! CHILDREN'S CANCER, INC. is a local non-profit 501(c) (3) organization committed to the prevention, control and cure of cancer in children. Since its founding in 1981 by the Freeman family, it has been locally managed and dedicated to raising funds for basic research, research scholars, and research equipment for the Divisions of Pediatric Hematology/ Oncology and Pediatric Neuro-Oncology at the University of Florida College of Medicine.

Bear-A-Thon - Wednesday, February 10, 2010
In 2009 K-COUNTRY/STOP! Children's Cancer, Inc. Bear-A-Thon raised over $37,000 for pediatric cancer research in 2009. These funds are given back to the community through Shands Hospital at the University of Florida College of Medicine.
